Creative Community

Creative communities inspire people. Our focus on the arts will inspire people to participate and to enjoy the people and the space around them.

With so many forms of expression- music, painting, sculpture, poetry, dance, theatre, and more, art can be both of the individual and of the community.  The Redford Parks and Arts Conservancy offers a new approach to how Redford Township experiences the arts.

We are here to provide programming that promotes participation in and appreciation of the arts (writing, visual arts, film, music and theater). This includes workshops for youth and adults, lectures/speakers, and events that feature the arts.

In particular, we hold the annual I aRt Festival (Interactive arts  in Redford Township) every July. Over time, we want to increase the visibility of the arts in the township through public works and the addition of a community arts house in which programming can occur.
