Community-Led Design In Parks

In order to ensure we have parks that work for ALL the people, a community conversation about what we need and what we value is absolutely essential .

The Redford Parks And Art Conservancy brings together the ideas of as many different groups in the community as possible, from parents of young children to skateboarders to seniors. We strive to find out what they want in their parks. We research good-design and true Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility for parks. These actions provide assistance to government leaders so that our citizens are truly included in the planning of our parks improvements.
